The product certification body SIA International Centre for Quality Certification (ICQC) is an independent organization that assesses the conformity of products with European Union legislation. The body is notified by the European Commission and has been assigned identification number 2549, national accreditation
The scope of accreditation of the certification body SIA International Centre for Quality Certification (ICQC) covers the following EU directives:
- 2006/42/EC (Machinery)
- 2014/30/EU (EMC - Electromagnetic Compatibility)
- 2014/34/EU (ATEX - Equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres).
The ICQC certification body conducts its activities honestly and conscientiously, in compliance with national and European laws and regulations, based on the requirements of directives and standards, impartially and objectively.
Trust and confidentiality between us and the customer are a necessary prerequisite for starting work. The confidentiality of any information received from the customer and all interested parties is guaranteed by us, even after the expiry of the contract - the confidentiality obligation is not limited in time.
The personnel involved in the work, as well as those making conformity assessment decisions, have sufficient knowledge, understanding and work experience, and carry out conformity assessment procedures with the necessary competence. In their practical work, personnel always maintain their absolute independence and impartiality and do not allow anyone to influence the objectivity of their decisions.
The body's activities do not allow for conflicts of interest, which is monitored by the company's management.
The body does not engage in consulting or intermediary activities in the field of product certification for the European Community market, and does not assume responsibility for conformity assessment if it is unable to perform such assessment.
All work is carried out on the basis of contracts that specify all the terms and conditions of the work and do not allow for any conflict with the requirements of the law.
We always agree with our customers on the exact cost of conformity assessment work and do not practise any hidden fees or surcharges.
The staff of the notified body are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the information entrusted to them as a result of their activities, except in cases where disclosure of information is required by the supervisory authorities of the European Community.
As a result of product certification activities, the staff of the notified body obtains confidential information or trade secrets of the customer's company, information received from other persons that concerns the customer is considered confidential, including information about the customer's employees, shareholders, customers, and business partners.
Confidential information includes technical documentation, financial information, including cost and performance data, purchasing and sales data, customer identifiers and business prospects, marketing strategy, market analysis or forecasts, prices and pricing, software, databases, hardware configurations or other technologies or tools created, developed or compiled by the customer, and any information that may be subject to non-disclosure or confidentiality agreements between the customer and any party.
The obligations of the notified product certification body with regard to confidential information remain in force as long as such information is confidential, and the expiry of the contract does not release the body from its non-disclosure obligations.
Information that is publicly available is not confidential.
